SEBI issues Master Circular for compliance with the provisions of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
SEBI has been periodically issuing circulars pertaining to the compliance requirements of the LODR Regulations, which became effective from December 01, 2015. However, to enable the users to have access to all the applicable circulars, issued till June 30, 2023, at one place, SEBI has issued a Master Circular which provides a chapter-wise framework for compliance with various obligations under the LODR Regulations.
This Master circular rescinds all the earlier issued circulars as listed out in its Annexure. The Master circular also sets out the following w.r.t the rescinded circulars-
1. Any action done or taken under the rescinded circulars, prior to such rescission, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Master Circular.
2. any reference in any other circulars/ guidelines issued by SEBI having reference to the repealed circulars listed out in this master circular, shall be construed to be a reference to the corresponding provisions of this Master circular.
3. Any previous operation of the rescinded circulars or anything done or suffered thereunder shall remain unaffected as if the rescinded circulars have never been rescinded.
