IBBI withdraws clarification w.r.t. payment of liquidators’ fees
IBBI vide its circular dated 28th September 2023 had issued a clarification w.r.t. the liquidators’ fee under Regulation 4(2)(b) of IBBI (Liquidation Process) Regulations, 2016. The clarification provided therein for ‘Amount withdrawn’ and ‘Period of calculation of fee’ are now withdrawn vide this circular dated 18th April, 2024. Further, the Insolvency Professionals who have not submitted any compliance related to the 28th September 2023 circular are given a chance to comply with the remaining parts of the circular and inform the status of the same to IBBI electronically on its website on or before 31st May, 2024.
