- The Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Second Amendment Rules, 2019:
Rule 12B is inserted which provides that the DIN allotted to the existing directors of a company that has not filed e-form ACTIVE within the period specified (i.e., June 15, 2019) will be marked as ‘Director of ACTIVE non-compliant company’ and such Directors shall take all necessary steps to ensure that all companies in which he/she is appointed as Director has filed e-form ACTIVE.
Further, the DIN of such director shall be revised as ‘Director of ACTIVE compliant company’, only after e-form ACTIVE is filed for all the companies in which they are Directors. Read more…
